CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WNCN) — UNC Men’s Basketball will advance to the ACC tournament championship game after a strong 72-66 win Friday night against Pitt.
The Tar Heels will play in the championship game for the first time since 2018 on Saturday night.
UNC rallied after Pitt after having a first-half lead in the game. Players R.J. Davis (25 points) and Armando Bacot (11 points) provided strategic offense during the second half helping to lead the Tar Heels to victory.
UNC is set to face either Virginia or N.C. State at the ACC championship game.
