The Pack picks up another guard
The Wolfpack has picked up another solid commit in Mike James. James is from Orlando FL, he was a four star, top 100 player that Coach Keatts recruited coming out of HS before he landed at Louisville. Coach Keatts started recruiting him again immediately after this most recent season ended, along with teammate Brandon Huntley-Hatfield, but James decided to stick around Louisville a while and see what the new coaching staff looked like.
James has started every game of his two-year college career (64 starts) and averaged 12.6 ppg, 5 rpg, 1.5 apg, and 34% from 3PT last season in 33.3 minutes a game. He hasn’t been a major outside threat in his career so far, averaging 3.2 attempts per game. (about the same as Casey Morsell this season)
At 6’5” 200 lbs., he brings excellent size to the backcourt. He has two years eligibility remaining which is a plus because currently many of our players have only one season left.
We currently have one remaining open scholarship.
If we can hold onto the remaining roster and use that last scholarship to pick up a proven backcourt shooter, this has the makings of another good team next season.
Welcome to the Pack!
