The Super Regional round is set, and 10 of the 16 national seeds survived the opening weekend, (10) NC State and (7) Georgia among them. The two will face off in Athens with a trip to Omaha on the line, beginning Saturday at noon ET.
Game two is set for the same time on Sunday, and both weekend games will air on ESPNU. Game time and television coverage for a potential third game on Monday have not been determined. (But rest assured that game would be on TV, not just ESPN+.)
This is the second time that NC State and UGA have met in the Supers, with the Bulldogs getting the best of the Pack, 2-1, back in 2008. In the second game, which State won 10-6, Russell Wilson was 2-4 with a couple RBI. So anyway that was a long time ago.
