The ACC released the league football schedule on Tuesday. Here is how it stacks up for NC State:
Aug. 28 (Thursday) — vs. ECU
Sept. 6 — vs. Virginia
Sept. 11 (Thursday) — at Wake Forest
Sept. 20 — at Duke
Sept. 27 — vs. Virginia Tech
Oct. 4 — vs. Campbell
Oct. 11 — at Notre Dame
BYE
Oct. 25 — at Pittsburgh
Nov. 1 — vs. Georgia Tech
BYE
Nov. 15 — at Miami
Nov. 21 (Friday) — vs. Florida State
Nov. 29 — vs. UNC
Three weeknight games, including two of the first three, which are sandwiched around a non-conference game against Virginia. The Pack doesn’t have to worry about Clemson this fall, but this is definitely a more challenging slate than the team faced in 2024. Six of State’s eight league opponents went to a bowl game this season, and there’s that very difficult trip to Notre Dame in there, too.
That’s the start of the most difficult stretch on the schedule—at Notre Dame, at Pitt, home vs. Georgia Tech, at Miami. The two bye weeks there will help, but NC State could easily be the underdog in all four.
Are there six wins in here? Probably, though a lot will depend on how the secondary shapes up.
