The women’s basketball non-conference slate is out, with NC State set to begin the season at home against ETSU on Nov. 5. The headlining matchup is of course the Final Four rematch with South Carolina on Nov. 10, and the Wolfpack also has an early true road game at TCU.
NC State will be one of eight teams participating in the Pink Flamingo Championship in the Bahamas. I wasn’t able to find any other teams committed to this event, but last year’s 10-team field featured eight from power conferences, including Ohio State and USC, so I’d expect a solid opponent or two there. For whatever reason, it’s not a tournament format—they just schedule two games for each participant.
