The Pack opens conference play on Dec. 15.
The ACC women’s basketball schedules were released Tuesday night along with the men’s, and we’ll see Wes Moore’s club begin the league slate with a marquee national television game against Louisville in mid-December.
That road trip aside, it’s a very friendly start to conference play for the Wolfpack. The full 18-game schedule:
Sunday, Dec. 15 at 1 p.m. – at Louisville – Jimmy V Women’s Classic (ABC)
Sunday, Dec. 29 at 6 p.m. – Clemson (ACCN)

Sunday, March 2 at noon – at SMU (ACCN)
The downside to only playing 18 games vs. 20 on the men’s side is there’s only room for one home-and-home opponent. And for the women, that’s Wake Forest. What that means for this season is that UNC does not come to Raleigh, which feels incredibly wrong. We love conference expansion, don’t we, folks.
The home/road trips will flip in the following season, with Wake remaining the home-and-home. The ACC hasn’t agreed to a model beyond these two seasons, so we’ll see if adjustments are forthcoming.
