It’s deja vu all over again.
For the second season in a row, NC State will spend Thanksgiving away from home. Last year, the Pack was in Vegas, and this year it will be in San Diego, participating in the Rady Children’s Invitational. This event also includes Purdue, Mississippi, and BYU.
As you may recall, NC State played all three of these teams last season, and lost to all three—to BYU in Vegas, Mississippi in Oxford, and Purdue in the Final Four. We’re turning the REVENGE dial to 11! Uh, hopefully.
The Wolfpack will play two of the three in San Diego, and both games should be helpful for the ol’ NCAA tournament resume, so that’s nice. Purdue and BYU both were KenPom top-20 teams this past season.
If you happen to be in the San Diego area, this is an opportunity to see the Pack play in an intimate venue. The rest of us will be relegated to watching on Fox/FS1. Tip times and initial matchups have not been announced yet.
