It must be June.
It’s been a good weekend for NC State football recruiting—and may get better still—with the Wolfpack picking up a pair of 2025 prospects.
The first of those was South Carolina cornerback prospect Cam Strong, who committed to NC State on Friday night. Strong is listed at 6’0 and 166 pounds by 247Sports, and is a consensus three-star recruit. Based on that rating, though, he’s pretty close to being a four-star prospect, and is the third-highest ranked recruit in State’s current class.
The second addition was wide receiver Arrion Concepcion, the younger brother of KC, who made his long-anticipated decision to pick State on Sunday afternoon. Like KC, Arrion projects in a slot receiver role at the next level—he’s listed at 5’9 and 170 pounds by 247Sports, and is a consensus three-star recruit. If he adjusts half as quickly to college as his brother did, he’ll have no problem out-performing that rating.
NC State is up to eight commitments for 2025; Concepcion is just the second in-state prospect to join the group so far.
