The June is indeed flowing on the recruiting trail, as the Wolfpack added two more commitments Sunday after Arrion Concepcion’s commitment. It was a big day for the future of NC State’s offense, with wide receiver Jerel Bolder and running back RJ Boyd also coming on board.
Bolder, the higher-profile prospect of the two, was on campus this weekend; he also visited Georgia, Duke, and Virginia earlier in the month. It’s always big to keep an in-state talent with interest from a program like Georgia home in North Carolina. (Not that the saga is over, necessarily; this is football recruiting, after all.)
He showed impressive big-play ability as a junior in 2023, finishing with 881 yards receiving and 14 TDs on just 43 receptions.

Bolder, who is listed at 6’0 and 192 pounds by 247Sports, is a consensus three-star recruit, and a top-15 player in NC.
RJ Boyd is a three-star prospect listed at 6’0 and 205 pounds. The Georgia product chose NC State over Duke. He ran for 694 yards and 10 scores on 114 carries last fall.
