ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WNCN) — It will be an all-North Carolina affair in the 2024 Go Bowling Military Bowl.
The North Carolina State Wolfpack (6-6 overall, 3-5 Atlantic Coast Conference) and East Carolina (7-5, 5-7 American Athletic Conference) Pirates are set to face off on Dec. 28 in Annapolis, Md.
NC State gained bowl eligibility on the last day of the regular season after outlasting rival UNC 35-30 in Chapel Hill. Following the close game, a melee broke out, resulting in fines to both teams from the ACC.
The Wolfpack finished the season 11th in the now 18-team ACC.
ECU finished fifth in the AAC. The Pirates lost their final regular season game to Navy, 34-20, in Greenville the day after Thanksgiving.
