TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WNCN) — In their last game, NC State women’s basketball knocked off a fellow Top 25 team. Can they do it again?
The No. 14 Wolfpack (18-4 overall, 10-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) visits No. 22 Florida State (19-4, 9-2) Sunday afternoon. Tipoff at the Tucker Center in Tallahassee is set for 2 p.m.
On Monday night, NC State held off No. 10 Duke at home to give them possession of second place in the ACC standings. In the 89-83 win, Aziaha James scored a career-high 36 points to lead the Wolfpack. NC State has now won seven games in a row.
But the Seminoles are on a win streak of their own, having been victorious in their last six contests. Their most recent win came Thursday night at Virginia, a 101-68 rout in which star Ta’Niya Latson scored 27 points and dished out 12 assists.
NC State comes back home for their next game. They host Miami on Thursday night at Reynolds Coliseum.
