LAWRENCE, Kan. (WNCN) — NC State is set for a marquee matchup Saturday afternoon in one of the toughest places to play men’s college basketball.
The Wolfpack (7-3 overall, 1-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) and No. 10 Kansas Jayhawks (7-2) will face off at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence. Tipoff is set for 3:15 p.m. eastern time.
After losing three games in a row, NC State has won their last two, including an overtime win over Florida State last weekend to open ACC play. The matchup with Kansas marks their first this season against a top 10 opponent.
The Jayhawks, who started the season as the top-ranked team in the country, has lost their last two games, leading them to slide down the poll to the No. 10 spot last week. Their seven wins so far this season already include victories over NC State’s two rivals, North Carolina and Duke.
NC State does not have a game scheduled next week and will next play on Dec. 22 at home against Rider.
