RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — After putting up a tough fight against Atlantic Coast Conference-leading Duke in Durham on Monday night, North Carolina State men’s basketball now has to face the another of the league’s top teams.
The Wolfpack (9-11 overall, 2-7 ACC) hosts Clemson (17-4, 9-1) on Saturday afternoon. Tipoff at the Lenovo Center is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
NC State has lost five in a row, including the 74-64 defeat at Cameron Indoor Stadium earlier this week. In that game, Dontrez Styles led the team with 18 points before fouling out of the contest. Trey Parker and Brandon Huntley-Hatfield came off the bench to score 15 and 10 apiece, respectively.
On the flipside, Clemson has won their last five contests, with their most recent win coming at Virginia Tech last Saturday. Chauncey Wiggins led the Tigers with 16 points and five rebounds in the 72-57 win.
The Wolfpack will travel out west for their next game, a matchup at Cal late Wednesday night.
