RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — NC State men’s basketball is looking to break their nine-game losing streak, and they’ll have a good chance to do it at home this weekend.
The Wolfpack (9-15 overall, 2-11 Atlantic Coast Conference) hosts Boston College (10-14, 2-11) Saturday afternoon. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. at the Lenovo Center.
The teams are tied, along with Miami, for the worst record in the ACC so far this season. NC State’s most recent loss came against Louisville on Wednesday night. In the 91-66 defeat, freshman Trey Parker led the Wolfpack with 13 points off the bench.
The Eagles are on a three-game win streak of their own. They lost to Notre Dame in double overtime on Wednesday night, 97-94. Chad Venning led Boston College in that game with 21 points.
NC State next makes the short trip to Chapel Hill for a rivalry game Wednesday night against the Tar Heels.
