Leonard Hamilton and Florida State are parting ways after the season, the school announced yesterday, putting an end to the career of the ACC’s longest-tenured coach. Hamilton has been at FSU for so long I actually can’t remember watching that team play for anybody else.
FSU is on the way to missing the NCAAs for the fourth straight season. (The lawsuit filed against Hamilton by former players didn’t help, either.)
FSU’s all-time winningest basketball coach, Leonard Hamilton, is resigning as head coach at the end of the season. He will address the transition during his postgame media availability after tomorrow night’s matchup with Notre Dame.

Farewell to a good coach, and the man who bravely answered the question, “what would happen if I had four seven-footers on my team at all times?”
