The former Chanticleer will join former NC State OC Tim Beck’s staff in his old stomping grounds
Former Wolfpack QB Grayson McCall is heading back to Conway, SC, to rejoin the program for which he set numerous records. He’ll be joining former NC State Offensive Coordinator Tim Beck’s staff at Coastal Carolina as an Offensive Analyst.
So fired up to come back home! I’m very thankful for Coach Beck & Coach Hollingshead for giving me such a great opportunity. Can’t wait to light up the scoreboard in Brooks just like old times!!! https://t.co/SK0whqM0WS

Former NC State wide receiver Emeka Emezie served as a graduate assistant for Coastal this past year, although he’s not currently listed on their coaching staff roster. Kriss Proctor, who served as the Pack’s Offensive Quality Control coach from 2016-2022, is currently the Tight Ends coach for the Chanticleers, having followed Beck to Coastal.
While McCall’s Wolfpack career didn’t play out as anyone hoped, he should make an excellent coach. Best of luck to him!
