Good luck, Dylan!
Dylan McMahon became the second and final NC State player taken in the 2024 NFL Draft on Saturday, going to the Philadelphia Eagles in the sixth round. The Eagles need a new starting center following the retirement of Jason Kelce, so this is a pretty good opportunity for McMahon.
Philly’s Director of Player Personnel said that McMahon’s quickness is what jumped out, and added that he has “high care factor on the technique,” which is an excellent scouting phrase. Make sure you have a high care factor with you technique in everything you do in life, kids!

Undrafted free agent signings began quickly after the draft’s conclusion, and NC State has had five guys ink deals so far: Savion Jackson and Robert Kennedy both signed with the Chargers, Trent Pennix signed with the Colts, long snapper Joe Shimko signed with Arizona, and Brayden Narveson signed with Tennessee.
Of that bunch, I’d imagine Shimko has the best chance of sticking in the league, though he’ll be competing with a couple guys for the job in Arizona.
