NC State made another addition to its 2025 class on Thursday, nabbing Georgia defensive line prospect Makhi Williams-Lee. Williams-Lee picked the Wolfpack over offers from Oklahoma and Texas Tech, among others. He visited all three schools in June.

Williams-Lee had a very productive junior season, collecting 77 tackles, 22 TFLs, and 10 sacks. That’s a whole lot of tackles for a guy listed at 280 pounds. He might be the kind of talent who could play either end or nose in State’s system, which is ideal, obviously.
Williams-Lee is a consensus three-star prospect ranked as the No. 81 player in Georgia by 247Sports. He’s NC State’s second commitment from Georgia and its third defensive line prospect. The class ranks 56th in the 247 Composite rankings at this point.
