NC State added Saturday a fourth high school commitment to its 2025 class in Tristan Teasdell, who announced for the Wolfpack this afternoon.

Teasdell, pictured above slightly larger than his real-life stature, is NC State’s fourth commitment for 2025. NC State has commitments from players from four different states so far, and only one in-state player, which is Gus Ritchey, the former UNC commit, who took some time but did obviously realize what a perilous and grievous mistake he had made.
Teasdell is listed at 6’1 and 175b pounds by 247Sports, and he looks like he’s being held hostage in his Duke football visit photo, which he might well have been, or maybe that was the moment where the NIL ran out. We’ll never know.
I’m probably the only person who finds that photo in a Duke uniform that funny. Like they just explained how Duke is not a part of the community.
