The Pack makes its Omaha debut on Saturday.
The 2024 College World Series, which will be an unofficial ACC-SEC challenge, gets underway Friday afternoon with Bracket 1, which features No. 1 overall seed Tennessee, No. 4 UNC, No. 8 FSU, and No. 12 Virginia.
No. 10 NC State is on the other side, with No. 2 Kentucky, No. 3 Texas A&M, and Florida. Florida is the only unseeded team remaining and also the only team other than State to go on the road in the Supers and win.
NC State opens with Kentucky on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. ET on ESPN. If the Pack wins, it’ll play Monday night at 7 p.m. against the A&M-Florida winner. Otherwise, it will be in an elimination game Monday afternoon.
