The two NC State players that made the preseason All-ACC team probably aren’t a surprise to anyone: Aydan White and KC Concepcion. There are plenty of potential All-ACC players on the roster, but those are probably the best bets to be there come December.
Davin Vann, Sean Brown, Red Hibbler, Justin Joly, Grayson McCall, Jordan Waters are some of the guys capable of being All-ACC this year, and I’m sure several of them got some votes.
Miami’s Cam Ward is the preseason Player of the Year, which is as good a choice as any other, I suppose. Personally I’d bet on Jaydn Ott or Omarion Hampton.
The full all-conference team is below. KC was the leading vote-getter at receiver and was the second most popular pick behind Clemson linebacker Barrett Carter. (On a side note, I’m not sure what the point of having an “all-purpose” slot is if they’re just gonna vote for one guy twice.)
