Great to end the three game losing streak
Game Summary:
NC State got it’s sixth consecutive ACC win!
The Pack came out hot in the first half, shooting better than we’ve seen recently, 50% / 30.8% / 70%. Breon Pass had a great offensive half, hitting 2-2 from 3PT but Marcus Hill was the spark. He went 3-5 / 1-2 for 11 points in 14 minutes. The team finally showed some of its rebounding potential leading 16-11 with Dennis Parker, Jr. giving us his best minutes of the season so far and pulled 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal in 12 solid minutes.
In the second half, the Wolfpack turned to Taylor (11) and Styles (14), both of which were held to 2 points in the first half. We continued shooting well, we shot 48% / 33.3% / and 61.5%. We had two good shots in our last possession, but missed them, the game ended tied at 70.
In OT we outscored them 14-4. Marcus Hill contributed 8, Dontrez Styles 5, and Taylor hit a free throw. Final score, 84-74. Wolfpack wins!
Overall Takeaways:
