The Wolfpack’s poor play made this a close game
Game Summary:
Coppin State is winless on the season, they got as close as 11 in a couple of final scores. Tonight they held the Wolfpack to a 10-point margin of victory. Their best showing so far.
The Pack started slow, after the first four minutes it was 0-6, CSU. The Pack finally caught tied them 21-21 at the 7:14 mark and never trailed again, closing out the half at 35-28. Ben Middlebrooks led the scoring with 10. Dennis Parker, Jr. played an excellent 12 minutes going 2-2 from 3PT, scoring 8 points, 2 rebounds, a steal and an assist.
In the second half Hill & Styles cranked up the energy and both played well. Hill scored 9 points and Styles 12 to keep us from a catastrophe. Final score, 66-56.
