NC State’s takes on Bryant Friday, May 31st, at 7:00pm
The Raleigh Regional has officially been announced with NC State set to host 2-seed South Carolina, 3-seed James Madison, and 4-seed Bryant.

South Carolina, an at-large team, finished 36-23 overall and 13-17 in SEC play. The Gamecocks spent most of the season ranked in the Top 25, reaching a peak of 13th in early May. They lost their last six regular season games against National Seeds Tennessee and Georgia, but rebounded to go 3-2 in the SEC Tournament, eventually falling in extra innings to LSU in the semifinals. The Gamecocks have an RPI ranking of 21st and a Strength of Schedule (SOS) of 5th.
James Madison, also an at-large team, finished 34-23 overall and 17-13 in Sun Belt play. The Dukes went 7-8 in Quad 1 games, including wins at Arkansas, Coastal Carolina (x2), and Troy (x2). Like the Gamecocks, the Dukes made their conference tournament semifinals before getting eliminated. JMU ranked 44th in RPI and 41st in SOS.
Bryant, champions of the America East Tournament, finished 36-19 overall and 17-7 in conference play. The Bulldogs went 0-6 in Quad 1 games, but did score a win on the road in late April against ACC team Pittsburgh. Bryant ranks 115th in RPI and 264th in SOS.
