CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. (WNCN) — Duke men’s basketball is in New England this weekend and looking to win their 12th game in a row.
The No. 3 Blue Devils (15-2 overall, 7-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) visit the Boston College Eagles (9-8, 1-5) Saturday night. Tipoff at Conte Forum in Chestnut Hill is set for 8 p.m.
Unbeaten so far in ACC play, Duke sits atop the conference standings, a half game ahead of Louisville. Since starting league play, the Blue Devils have hardly been challenged, with their closest win an 86-78 victory over Notre Dame on Jan. 11. Led by a heralded class of freshman centered around top recruit Cooper Flagg, Duke hasn’t lost since a defeat to then-No. 1 Kansas on Nov. 26 in Las Vegas.
On the other hand, Boston College has struggled in ACC play so far. The Eagles have dropped three in a row, with the most recent loss a 78-60 defeat at Notre Dame Monday night. BC’s only league win has come over Miami, the team currently sitting at the bottom of the conference standings.
The Blue Devils will return to North Carolina for their next game but stay on the road, as they’re set to play at Wake Forest next Saturday.
