RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Duke’s push toward the 2025 NCAA Tournament championship continues Sunday afternoon.
The No. 1 Blue Devils (32-3) face the No. 9 Baylor Bears (20-14) in an East Region game. Tipoff from the Lenovo Center in Raleigh was originally set for 2:40 p.m. but was moved back to 3:04 p.m.
Duke rolled in the first round, routing No. 16 Mount St. Mary’s 93-49 on Friday afternoon. Tyrese Proctor led the Blue Devils with 19 points and five assists, while national player of the year candidate Cooper Flagg returned from an ankle injury to score 14 points, pull down seven rebounds and dish out four assists.
Baylor was involved in a much closer first round game, outlasting No. 8 Mississippi State 75-72 on Friday. In that win, Robert Wright III led the bears with 19 points, while Langston Love added 15 points.
The winner of this game will move on to play in the Sweet 16 on Thursday.
