LYNCHBURG, Va. (WNCN) — Days after routing Radford at home to open the season opener, the Duke women’s basketball team is on the road.
The No. 11 Blue Devils (1-0) are in Lynchburg to face the Liberty Flames (1-0). Tip off at Liberty Arena is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Duke easily won their first game on Monday, topping the Radford Highlanders 89-36. The Blue Devils were led by Delaney Thomas’ 12 points, while Reigan Richardson and Jadyn Donovan also scored in double digits.
The Flames also won their season opener, beating Valparaiso 77-58. Liberty was led by Emma Hess’ 20 points. Jordan Hodges also chipped in 18 points and 8 assists.
This is the first of a two-game road trip for the Blue Devils, who will next play at Maryland on Sunday.
