DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Duke football is looking to continue its winning start to the Manny Diaz era in Durham.
The Blue Devils (2-0) welcome the Connecticut Huskies (1-1) to Wallace Wade Stadium Saturday evening. Kick off in Durham is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Duke has scored 26 points in each of the first two games of the season — a 26-3 win over Elon in Week 1, and a 26-20 double-overtime win at Northwestern last Friday night.
The Huskies and the Blue Devils last met on the gridiron last season in East Hartford, a game that Duke won 41-7. But UConn holds a 2-1 all-time record in the series, including a win in Durham in 2007.
Next week, the Blue Devils are hitting the road again, this time to Murfreesboro, Tenn. to face Middle Tennessee on Saturday.
