RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — In a tweet, the Duke Blue Devils announce that standout freshman Cooper Flagg will be active tomorrow in the opening round of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.
Duke University, tapped as the top seed in the 64-team tourney, Flagg injured his ankle in the quarterfinal of the ACC tournament against Georgia Tech.
He sat out for the remainder of their tournament, where they defeated UNC and Louisville to take the conference trophy to Durham County.
Duke will face Mount St. Mary’s Friday at 2:50 p.m. at the Lenovo Center in Raleigh.
