Today’s Georgia-Clemson game has been a tale of two halves. Clemson managed to keep the game close in the first half, giving up only six points to the SEC powerhouse. But things got brutally away from them in the second half and they’re nosediving into an historic loss.
As of writing, Clemson has been outscored 28-3 in the second half and it has looked every bit as one-sided as the 34-3 box score would indicate. Their running game has been non-existent, the quarterback hasn’t been able to make deep completions and the defense hasn’t looked anything like the Clemson defenses we saw over the past decade.
It didn’t take long for ABC’s cameras to look for some fans in the crowd who were particularly miserable and they found their man.
After Georgia took a 20-3 lead in the third quarter, ABC cameras panned to one Clemson fan wearing a Tigers hat and looking frustrated beyond belief as the Tigers fell into that hole.

College football fans tend to get a pretty big kick from seeing the Tigers knocked down a peg, so the reactions on social media were pretty predictable:
“I dont know about Georgia scheduling these cupcakes early. Not sure how well they prepare us for the grueling SEC season,” one user replied.
“This is funny Georgia is beating the absolute soul & will to live outta Clemson today hey Clemson man are u ok,” joked another.
“This is all of Clemson nation when it comes to our offense,” a Clemson fan lamented.
Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney is going to have a tough time responding to this one.
