Dallas Thomas, the 6-foot-7, 4-star power forward from Little Rock (AR) Parkview Magnet, committed to Clemson on Monday.
He also considered Missouri, Memphis, LSU and Arkansas.
“I chose Clemson because it seemed like the place for me,” he told 247Sports.com. “The coaches made it clear that I was a priority. We had a good bond and they are big on development. They will do whatever it takes to develop me into a pro and they have had recent success with that in Hunter Tyson. Seeing that and how they developed him over the years, I see a lot of similarities.”
Thomas visited Clemson in June.
“Really just the vibes,” he told 247 of what he liked. “Every place I feel like has good facilities but it was the vibes of the people there.”
Thomas is Clemson’s first commit in 2024.
