Everyone’s ripping Dabo Swinney for a “cowardly” decision ahead of the 2024 college football regular season.
Clemson’s head football coach does a radio show each week. In past seasons, he’s taken calls from fans. But this year, that’s being put to a stop.
“It’s official: Clemson FB coach Dabo Swinney will no longer take live calls from fans on his weekly radio show The new format is called “Tiger Sports Hour with Dabo Swinney.” Fans will able to submit questions to him via text/email,” the report states.
College football fans aren’t happy.

Swinney is being accused of being a “coward.”
“we can’t even get a live coach’s call-in show any more, because of woke,” one fan wrote.
“Who remembers in the 90s and 00s when you could call in to Bill Roth and Mike Burnop after the games, those were always interesting after losses 😂,” one fan added.
“The idiotic caller that riled Dabo up last year actually helped rally the program as a unit. They were 4-4 at the time and finished 9-4. Retreating into an echo-chamber only hurts in the long-term. You eventually lose the plot as information stops and propaganda begins to flow,” one fan added.
“Dabo is a Charmin Soft baby too. How do you teach your players to handle adversity when you as a coach won’t take phone calls from people who cheer for you?” one fan added.
Clemson, coming off a 9-4 season, is set to open the year against Georgia on Saturday.
