After orchestrating a comeback win in the Gator Bowl on Friday, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney received a well-earned Gatorade bath.
Swinney was being interviewed by ESPN reporter Taylor Tannebaum when his players dumped a bucket of Gatorade on him.
Unfortunately for Tannebaum, she was caught in the crossfire. That led to Swinney saying, “I’m sorry. I hope that’s not real leather.”
On Friday night, Tannebaum cleared the air regarding her jacket.
“Can confirm, it’s faux leather,” Tannebaum wrote on X. “We’re on a budget over here. Fun day at the @taxslayerbowl!”

Tannebaum’s followers believe Clemson’s coaching staff should get her a new jacket.
“Smart,” one fan replied. “Don’t wear the real thing to something like that.”
Another fan said, “Tigers owe you a nice jacket!”
“I think Dabo should probably replace, maybe even in real leather,” a third fan suggested.
While that would be a classy gesture from Swinney, there’s no indication that’ll happen.
