Dabo Swinney was fired up after Clemson’s upset win over No. 15 Notre Dame this Saturday, that’s for sure.
After the final whistle was blown, Swinney addressed Clemson’s critics. He wants them to know that his program is on the rise once again.
“I know everyone is throwing dirt on us, but if Clemson’s a stock, you better buy all you freaking can buy right now,” Swinney said.
“If #Clemson is a stock, you better buy all you freaking can right now!”

Phil Mafah led the charge with 186 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 36 carries. He had a brutal fumble in the late stages of the game, but it didn’t end up costing his team the win.
Clemson’s defense also played a pivotal role in Saturday’s win, forcing Notre Dame quarterback Sam Hartmann to make a plethora of mistakes. The veteran signal-caller completed just 13-of-30 pass attempts for 146 yards with two interceptions.
Next up for Clemson is a showdown with Georgia Tech. It’s a good opportunity for the Tigers to build some momentum.
